Uncommon Ground
Since I have been recommended to go to Uncommon Ground by a few people now, I decided to do some research on them. They have an awesome rooftop garden that they use to grow veggies for the food in the restaurant. Since I haven't been there yet, check out the video to hold you over.
Do any of you garden? If so, what do you grow and what are your favorite recipes to make with your growings?

I'd be interested in reading how to take care of bugs in the garden without harmful chemicals
ReplyDeleteI have what I call a SalsaSauce garden. This means I grow what i need to make 1. fresh salsa and 2. fresh red sauce...because these are the two things I cannot stop eating and that make me grow broke if I try to buy all the fresh ingredients to make them all the time. Especially salsa, making your own pico de gallo from scratch costs SO MUCH MONEY. But, if you grow tomatoes, jalepenos, cilantro, and onions - which I'm going to try out this year ( I buy the garlic and probably always will) then you are all set. And I have two basil plants I love tomato basil anything that much. :D Yum. I love food and cooking.
ReplyDeleteI love Amanda's idea!
